come see the farm!

Walnut trees are killing our cherry tomatoes. We thought the trees were far enough away, and they have been up until now, but apparently the roots have been encroaching into our hoophouse. The trees are about 50 feet away. Guess we are going to have to cut at least some of them down.
Plastic as far as the eye can see. As organic farmers we end up having to use quite a bit of plastic. These tarps are helping kill weeds in advance of transplanting our winter squash.
Beds prepared for later plantings and newly installed bean trellises for beans we are growing for Fruition Seeds.

Come join us for a potluck dinner on the farm on Sunday June 30. Dinner starts at 5:30 bring a dish to pass and one to eat from if you can.  We'll have farm tours, a scavenger hunt and some farm Olympics!  Come see your food in the field.
