The
way it works…
Members
purchase a “share” of vegetables before the harvest season
starts. Then, starting in June and continuing until the end of
October, we bring the vegetables to farmers' markets in Corning and
Elmira. On-farm pickup is also available. Members choose what they
want to eat for the week from what we have available at market.
Vegetables in limited supply are reserved for CSA members. For the small share the number of weekly vegetables varies from 5 (early
June) to 8 (late summer/fall).
For
people who are interested in supporting a local farm yet find a
weekly share of vegetables too much, we are offering Muddy Fingers
Farm Cards that are redeemable at any of our farmers’ markets.
Members are invited to occasional events we have on the farm. Members
are encouraged to read our weekly farm newsletter/blog which includes
a list of expected produce for each week and farm updates.
We would love for anyone who is
interested in becoming a member to drop by the farm. We are glad to
schedule tours or let you walk in the fields. Please call Matthew or
Liz for directions at (607)546-4535.
