this week the fennel all came out of the field, so it'll be topless from now on, it keeps until the end of december and is done storing right around new years, so eat lots until then, try this fennel apple salad recipe.

thinly slice two fennel bulbs and two apples, add a shallot or half a red onion.  
raisin plumped in red wine (cup or raisins simmered in a cup of red wine)
two clementines sectioned into segments and a simple vinegrette
(olive oil, soy sauce, lime juice, maple syrup, mustard, salt and pepper to taste)
toss all together and enjoy!
