Chickens love living in the hoophouses over the winter. We leave one side slightly rolled up so they can go outside when they want.

We strive to treat our soil well by reducing tillage, preventing erosion, adding organic matter in many ways and using no chemical herbicides or pesticides. By adding organic matter and reducing tillage we are turning our soil into a carbon sink as part of our responsibility of fighting climate change.
