By participating in Muddy Fingers CSA you are doing your part to support regenerative, organic agriculture. We strive to treat our soil well by reducing tillage, preventing erosion, adding organic matter in many ways and using no chemical herbicides or pesticides. By adding organic matter and reducing tillage we are turning our soil into a carbon sink as part of our responsibility of fighting climate change.

We actually had a sunny day so we removed the covers from the greens in the hoophouses this week to let them soak up some sun.

It may seem premature, but our CSA membership form for 2021 is now available for printing as a link on this page. We will also have a payment option setup soon on our Square website. You can mail the form in with a check or find us at the Chamberlain Acres or Corning Farmers' Markets. No changes this year to the CSA - we were able to keep the CSA prices unchanged.
We have been busy planning for the coming growing season. We prioritized getting our seed orders in early knowing that demand for seed will be high again this year. We wanted to make sure we got our orders in before too many of the varieties we rely on are sold out. We have also been having fun reviewing the numbers (sales, harvest logs, etc.) from last year and planning our planting maps for this year. We hope you are all having as pleasant a winter as possible thus far.
