On Tuesday morning from about 2 or 3 AM through 8 AM we received almost 9 1/2 inches of rain. This is our road just downhill from our house.
And here it is a little farther down. Crews worked for 3 days and now the road is open but it is still a mess.
Sad radish seedlings.
And now for some happier photos...Wati eating edamame leaves and Gemini eating carrots. Ebony (goat) and Luna in background.
Yeah tomatoes!
Daikon radishes hanging on the edge of the cliff
This clump of tomatoes was so heavy it fell off while we were pruning and trellising them.
Onions before harvesting. A pretty good crop this year. We just hope they don't all rot in storage from being too wet!!
And finally, an invitation to the farm! Join us Friday September 14th for a CSA potluck! Bring a dish-to-pass if you can and join us for an evening meal on the farm. (If possible, please bring your own plate and utensils). Take a tour, pet the goats, look in the pond and eat good food right where its grown! 6-9 PM
