Freshly planted trays of tomatoes, peppers and/or eggplants
Thanks for a great winter market season. I feel the need to apologize again because we still have not mastered the art of having salad greens all winter long. Next year!
We are looking forward to having a couple months off from harvesting and farmers' markets. This gives us a chance to catch our breath and then really focus on planting in April and May so we can be sure to have a great selection of vegetables once June comes. The greenhouse is already busting at the seams with trays of plants that we will be transplanting outside once the weather is warmer and the soil is dry enough.

Tender tomato seedlings grow in the greenhouse while snow rages outside.
Here at Muddy Fingers Farm we are trying to grow the size of the CSA. So we would love to be able to connect with people in the the Elmira and Corning communities. Do you know of a community organization to whom we could speak or set up a table to talk about our farm and CSA? If so, email or call maglenn_1999@yahoo.com 607-546-4535. See you soon... CSA season will be here before you know it.
